Vedic Meditation

  • The technique

The technique I teach, is as taught by Thom Knoles under the Shankaracharya tradition.

After the short gratitude ceremony, you will receive a BIJA (beeja) Mantra.

I will then explain to you the effortless technique of how to use it properly.

  • How do I learn

The course is run over 4 days: approximately 60 to 90 mins session each day.
    Each day we:
    - Will meditate together for 20 mins.
    - Check your Mantra
    - Slowly go deeper into the practice. We will discuss a range of topics from seating positions and time of day to meditate etc. Then I will explain how the technique removes stress from the body and nervous system and therefore changes our state of consciousness. The real you shines through. Which is sustainable by meditating daily.

  • After the course

I have a follow up with you after 10 days or so. After the course you can re-sit any course that I teach for no charge ever. You have me to reach out to whenever you wish for help and support. It also opens the door for Vedic Rounding Retreats and Courses run by established teachers throughout Australia and New Zealand and the World if you choose to deepen your practice.

  • The cost

I charge $600pp for students in the Hunter Valley region.

Outside of the Hunter Valley area, prices vary depending on factors such as travel costs, venue hire and the number of students I will be teaching.

Please contact me directly if you wish to discuss alternate payment options.

Exploring the Veda 1 by Thom Knoles (ETV1), facilitated by Scotty Sisson

For the first time; I will be offering this truly enlightening course. In Exploring The Veda 1, students will learn an advanced technique to extend on their existing practice.

The Veda is the ancient body of wisdom that is the source of the arts and sciences of Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, meditation, and the whole of Indian philosophy. The Veda is universal knowledge available within everyone’s consciousness. It is the blueprint of creation.

Great Rishi’s and enlightened Seers with the ability to cognise from this state have blessed us with the ancient Vedic texts and sciences. However, these enlightening texts written in traditional Sanskrit have often been translated and misinterpreted by those lacking the level of consciousness to properly understand and convey the subtle teachings.

Thom Knoles (Check out Thom's podcast The Vedic World View) is recognised as one of the world’s foremost teachers of the Veda’s true meaning and application. Thom delves deeply into the Veda and draws out pearls of wisdom that are nothing short of life-changing.

An immersive and transformative weekend spent deepening your Vedic Knowledge with Q & A’s throughout, this course provides an “upgrade” in consciousness, a deeper experience of meditation and a subsequent enhancement of daily life.

This course will run from 11-13 July 2025.

    Cost: $850
